‘Sweet’ is a daydream of a song. Singer / Songwriter Alix brings her signature soft but stand out vocals to her latest single. Her unique tone compliments angelic harmonies, giving ‘Sweet’ nostalgic hints of a modern pop meets Neo soul. Chill but catchy, the beat feels comforting as the melodies coast alongside. Alix wrote and recorded her own vocals in the home studio of her indie label that she owns with ‘Sweet’’s producer and mixing/mastering engineer buffy biggs. Lyrics like ‘how did I find a love like this’ and ‘you are like no one I’ve ever known’ show how grateful she is for a love that is sweet as sugar.
